Reminds me of the contractor who was using illegals to build a section of the Great Wall of Trump

What do we pay for them? What do we take in from them in taxes? What net economic benefit do they provide as consumers?

Do you have any of this information? Or are you just all.......really really mad, and not gonna take it any more?

    Or......

....did one of them eat your dog?

How many have jobs? Already answered but since you apparently did read it the first time, here's the answer to your question:
According to estimates from the Center for Migration Studies of New York (CMS) and other groups, as many as 8.3 million undocumented immigrants work in the US economy, or 5.2 percent of the workforce. They work in construction (1.5 million), restaurants (1 million), agriculture and farms (320,000), landscaping (300,000), and food processing and manufacturing (200,000), among other occupations.

A University of Wisconsin study estimates that 70% of the workers who milk cows in America’s Dairyland are undocumented immigrants. Other Wisconsin industries, including meatpacking, hospitality and construction, also lean heavily on migrant laborers.

How did this post get a 'funny' rating?

This is an interesting article from a credible source. It provides a legitimate take, using legitimate information. At best it's entirely correct. At worst, it's something an informed person could credibly disagree with.

But 'funny' ? We're in a new era where the purveyors of mistruth, and the supporters of such, are just able to cling to their ignorance and laugh off any information they find disagreeable. A modern Idiocracy. It's pathetic.

Kind of sad to see what passes for "debate" from the right these days.

There is no debate about some folks.
    It is what it is.
    And it’s sad.

What are these free benefits that you speak of and how many of the 10 million are receiving them?

To be fair though, he posts news articles that are informative and worth reading, even if only to understand a different opinion for some. Some people almost exclusively post GIFs and do drive-by neg ratings.

Most libbies on this board are hardly worth my time and effort and lucky to receive a mere gif.
There are a few libbies here who I will respond to…looks like you just haven’t figured it out yet.

Wrong. Born in New York. Grew up in Coral Springs, FL., where I became a Gator fan. Went to school at U. Of Arizona when the family moved west. Been here ever v since minus three years in Seattle. I like to say I've lived in the USA corners.

Instead of making a mistake about my heritage, why not attempt to engage in debate regarding the points I make? How do we replace 8 million undocumented immigrant laborers? What happens if we can't and inflation rises significantly as a result of labor supply shortages? What happens if businesses have to close because of labor shortages, and unemployment rises? Is it with spending billions when the fiscal risks are so high?

But hey, if your only argument is an incorrect attack on my heritage, then I guess I know where you stand!

You have a relentless passion for immigrants.
    It’s borderline unhealthy.
My comment was based on that fact.

If you disagree provide your rationale. Once again illegals are not eligible for most government benefits. They're not eligible for SNAP, they're not eligible for SSI and they're not eligible for TANF. Undocumented children are eligible for subsidized school lunches and undocumented pregnant women and babies are eligible for WIC although very few of the latter actually receive benefits in that program and I would assume that so called prolifers wouldn't object to that exception. And also once again:

And finally chartering airliners to deport them to their countries of origin isn't exactly free nor is housing and feeding them while they're awaiting deportation and if their countries of origin will not accept them they would have be housed in internment camps indefinitely.

I don't understand why we should spend billions of taxpayer money when the result will be a GDP loss of billions, and higher prices for all? I've yet to read why we must do this. Or why this is the only solution. To me, it's stupid. There is a better way.

The better way is to enforce the law, close the border and send all those who have broken the law and are here illegally back to where they came from. If you do not enforce the law, it leads to more lawlessness by this group and becomes a vicious cycle.
