Interesting that they said the gun they found him with was a "ghost" gun assembled from parts. Would seem to disqualify the Station Six if that is true, I believe.

That said, ghost gun can be such a nebulous term that it could just mean he removed the serial number and the press mis-reported it

Yeah, I was going to say that either the Station Six reporting or the ghost gun reporting pretty much has to be wrong.

No one is selling parts kits for something that obscure.

I could see it being a home built suppressor maybe, but if the gun itself was a “ghost gun” it’s either something completely different than a Station Six, or an actual 100% home build.

In thinking about it, the design behind a Station Six isn’t a terribly complicated one - other than getting the rotating bolt to work correctly - so I guess it’s possible this guy is good at machining and managed to make a bolt action “tube gun” pistol out of a mag well and some pipe, but to my knowledge no one is out there selling “build at home pieces” of something that obscure. Pretty much every pistol “kit” I can think of having ever seen is based on either a Glock or a striker-fired Sig of some sort.

I assume he didnt want to get caught based on his attempted escape and the fact he didnt kill himself. Having said that a manifesto indicates he thought he could get killed and wanted his words out there.

Good point. Why not throw away the fake and start using your real id? Lose the gun. Lose the hoodie. Wear a medical mask which isnt totally unusual these days. Shave your head in a rest room. All you need is one viewing of Jason Bourne.

He needed his gun since he was eating at McDonalds.
Have you seen their prices lately?

I think he got on TikTok, realized the number of hot prison wives he'll get and he made an executive decision to retire

    I'd recognize those eyebrows anywhere.
Mangione is an anti-capitalist Ivy League grad who liked online quotes from “Unabomber’’ Ted Kaczynski — and apparently hated the medical community because of how it treated his sick relative, law-enforcement sources told The Post on Monday.

Tech whiz Luigi Mangione, 26, of Towson, Md., has not been charged but was taken into custody Monday morning at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pa., after an intense manhunt following the coldblooded execution of Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel last week, sources said.

The former prep-school valedictorian was caught with a gun, silencer, four fake IDs with names used during the killer’s stint in New York City — and a manifesto, sources said.

Wouldn't be surprised if the PN incident is a distraction technique. They might be trying to give the perp a false sense of security to snuff him out.

Based on stuff people have unearthed, if it is him, he basically has the incoherent politics of a 20 something tech bro

I'm pretty sure it is him. Degrees match and the New York press conference just said he has ties to Hawaii.
