Heck of a comeback from the Ponies.
31-31, looks like another o/t game. 16 sec left in regulation.

    Damn Clemson scraped it out.

Would rather have seen SMU in the playoffs.

Well damn, Clem kicks a 51 yarder as time expires to get the win. Big KO return.

SMU deserved to lose after not going for two after scoring that touchdown.

The kick-off return killed SMU near the end. Terrible coverage.

I see many of the analysts are saying this morning that SMU will get in the CFP. With that schedule, really?? They only played 2 ranked teams and lost both games and neither of those teams are all that good. But they came back against Clemson. So what, Clemson doesn’t belong either. It’s mind boggling that not only is Clemson in but they’re also likely going to get a first round bye. smh

It seems difficulty of schedule means little now. Just get the ranking (which is suspicious enough for me) and you're in. This way, if I put my tinfoil hat on, I'd say they rank based on who they want in and have it fixed on conference championship day so you can never move down and out just up and knock someone not playing out. We'll see shortly.

This also means the SEC scheduling could put favored teams in and take others out (barring miracles).

Thank you Clempson for any part you had in the Alabama low tide. Who names their team after a bacterial infection anyway.

When I was like 5 years old and full of uninformed ideas, I thought Alabama and Clemson were the same team. The Clemson Tide.

Schedule strength has usually meant very little throughout the history of college football. The disparity of schedule strength not to mention WHEN you lose has always been a glaring flaw in college football. How many chances at a title would florida have had if we played fsu to start the season rather than end it in the 90s under Spurrier. Was the team any less worthy of a shot than say a team that finished their season with a weaker schedule and a front loaded season at that? Just had to rant about my biggest pet peeve of how college football has always done things.
