As much as I hate Jawga, the bottle throwing, entitled, cows losing to a 'one armed QB' warmed my heart. MM's comment about being 'invited to the table, but we want to sit at the head' confirmed the above statement.

The Gators weren’t playing and it didn’t affect us at all, so I didn’t watch. Football takes up too much Saturday fun time to have no skin in the game.

As for ETN, well, when your girlfriend cheats on you, she’s no longer your girlfriend if you have any self-respect, so it’s a really good idea to stop obsessing over her and stroking her ego.

Besides, I can wander over to Gator Country after the fact and get the scoop from my brothers and sisters. :p

He might be a backup in our RB room.

Yeah, but what if your ex has an obsessive helicopter mom that constantly takes shots at you in public. (Like mom ETN does) and said ex then tells the world on national TV how much better the new dude is than you?

Who exactly is the obsessive one in that case? ;)

Oh and her ego isnt stroked when she knows you are actually having a Baugh with your new girl

I really want Kirby to get off the damn field during games!
Yes, that’s what I want for Christmas this year. If I don’t get that, I want Kirby to stop making those idiotic hand gestures to the refs.

    I do.

    RB...........Yds.......Avg.......Long.......TD
    ETN..........571.......5.1........48...........9
    Baugh.......603.......5.1........55...........7
    Johnson.....593.......5.9........71..........6

Two of those TDs came in GA's 13th game. Consider blocking ability and ETN is probably 3rd RB here.

I believe Baugh and Montrell are better all around backs.

Better stats per carry on a worse team...and they can block

Edit: @gatordavisl beat me to it.

    I absolutely believe that.

Put Montrell on UGA and he would get the clutch carries just like he often did here vs ETN.

Just can't wrap my head around Georgia and Kirby recruiting all the best talent in the country for the last many years and it being legit!
Think this is one of the reasons Saban retired. I guess Kirby learned from him and started beating him at his own game.
All conjecture but would love to know what really transpires on the recruiting trail.

It would appear we have some momentum and I believe without a huge gap in talent we compete at a much higher level than we have seen in the past 10 years.

I think we beat Georgia next year.

Oh, that's rich coming from Tex-@SS !!!! Texas whining about corruption / officials within a conference ??? They are not going to "put up" with conference corruption, huh? You just cannot make this $#!T up !!! This coming from a university that has gotten so much preferential treatment for so long, that it played a huge role in two prior conferences being absolutely destroyed (SWC and B12). Just ask some of their previous conference mates about all of that !!! You don't need to look very far. We have 4 of them here in the SEC that can tell you all about that history. So, if they did get screwed last night, I could care less, good I have NO sympathy for them!!! They are a poison pill that will ultimately do damage to this conference as well. You think they came here to be a "team player"? Get real, Hell no, they have plans of "running the show" their own way, like they did in the SWC and B12. Didn't they say themselves they are coming here to be HEAD OF THE TABLE? I can assure you whoever is SEC commish will over time bend over for them. You think it was a headache dealing with Bama, Georgia, Tenn and Auburn preferred treatment..... WAIT, you ain't seen nothing yet. Wait till Tex-@$$ gets firmly gripped in the SEC.

I think the "legit" argument is loser talk.

This is the NIL era...its sorta all "legit" at this point. Everyone can do what IGA does. We just have to have the same commitment.

And Saban probably retired for the same reason everyone does. Relax and enjoy your life.

Not sure what you mean”it’s not even about that” about what?
Everybody knows the history of Tx and the big 8 then the big 12. Everybody knows how they wanted more money and the Texas network for tv and tried to run roughshod over smaller schools in the league.
I’m just commenting about last nights game, not the financial ramifications of Tex joining the SEC.

"It means rest for our team that [SEC commissioner] Greg Sankey and his staff sent on the road all year long," Smart said.

umm...ok Kirby. Cry me a river. UGA had 4 away SEC games plus Jax (which was technically a home game for UGA). Pretty much like most of the SEC and what UF has next year with only 3 true home SEC games.

And how far is Athens away from Atlanta where you played Clemson and the SEC championship?

Stats aren’t always an accurate gauge. They can lie.

Smart’s on record on how much ETN’s blocking improved once he got to UGA. You guys use the blocking at UF stuff like the guy didn’t improve this year - he did.

You also omitted receiving as a RB. ETN is WAY better here:
    ETN 28 - 168
    MJ 13-64
    Baugh 3-27

ETN’s numbers would have been even better had he not missed numerous games. Speaking of that, true freshman Nate Frazier could be included in this discussion:
Rushing - 634 yards (4.9) 8 TDs (more yrds and TDs than either of your guys)
Receiving - 10 for 68 (better than either of the Gator backs)

Hey, you’re happy with your guys and we’re happy with ours. I’ll watch your bowl game and root for the Gators!

Winning makes recruiting easy. Having a coach recognized as a winner helps.

He whines about everything. I can't imagine his meltdown when real adversity hits.
