our true freshman was better this year.

 

Why? Explain.

To my mind, Texas is one of the best colleges that we have added to the SEC. Missouri and Oklahoma? Hell with them.

Texas hasn't won a Natty since 2005, playing against inferior competition. Why is everyone afraid of them?

But, being Texas, they are less likely to take old school SEC crap. Like the corrupt officiating they endured today. They won't put up with that old school SEC bullcrap. Good for them. I think they will change the conference for the better.

Until now, it has only been us.

Quality University, great college town.

I'm all for them.

 

Can we get a “begrudgingly agree” option?

 

I wish nothing but misery for uga. And I gotta tip my cap to Kirby winning with a backup qb. Not enough experience with ut to hate them. I’m sure it will grow.

Having said that, I really want anybody but uga to win the cf playoff.

In a "what have you done for me lately" world, it'd be good for about 1 season of bragging rights, subject to renewal.

 

I have one more point of contention about this game...about the refs and the rules.

Why can you use the crown of your helmet to hit the side of the HEAD of the ball carrier, and NOT get a targeting call. But IT IS TARGETING to use that same crown of the helmet when you hit the ball carrier's AZZ?

Tell me why the AZZ targeting is off limits and a 15 yard penalty? But hitting someone's head AT FULL SPEED is okay?

Why can't we get one rule that works in all cases?

 

It is further south than Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky and Utoothless, among others.

It fought for the Confederacy.

What's your definition of the "South"?

Just to add to this, we are the first team in college football history to get an AZZ TARGETING penalty called IN A GAME.

Yeah I was wondering that when I thought SMU would win vs Clemson.
Also I think ASU should be ranked way higher than they are.
Guessing UGA winds up at #2 now with PSU and UT losing.

I was at my friend’s house in north Atlanta getting ready to leave for our game. We were jumping up and down screaming, when we got to the dome we wondered if everyone else there had seen it and knew the significance, but people had already made “God Bless Texas signs” and the energy in the stadium was crazy. The game itself has Danny in shotgun, which itself caused a stir. But a comfortable win in the end.
