You lost three messages ago. I just don't care to keep arguing the same points over and over. You feel the two ranked wins are over shit teams and the Gators beat no one, got it. I disagree in whole.
Lol. No one is crying. Try to put together a more articulate argument. The beating crappy teams was a generalized statement. They beat 2 teams with a winning record one of which is currently ranked (I never consider ranking at time of play-because that is a dumb take) and the rest have a losing record. So the majority of the teams they beat were crappy and they should beat those teams Somehow that is me crying.
I get it and see the good in being ranked top 10 in recruiting, but what Ockechobee is saying is not wrong. If recruiting rankings mean anything, currently our conference has these teams ranked ahead of us: Tx, Ten, Bama, UGAG, aTm, LUS and Aubrin. That means we have to make up the ground in coaching and player development. I would rather just have 5 star players for the 3 deep and then rely on coaching. Worked for Saban (although it's very difficult to do that in today's climate).
One can be "right" in an argument while neglecting anything positive. I don't care of chubee is right or not; is a downer. Just about 3 weeks ago, the Gator recruiting class was ranked 50ish. The turnaround was remarkably positive.
Especially when the current coaching staff hasn't given any indication they can actually play at the level of their recruiting.
There was nothing "remarkable" about it at all. This is Florida. We have pulled recruiting classes at least this good almost every year for the past 30+ years. What is remarkable is that we were ever down in the 50's in class ranking to begin with. Not something you see at Florida very often, if ever. remarkable re·mark·able ri-ˈmär-kə-bəl : worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary
Davis appreciates you supporting his argument against you. It's kind of a head scratcher for me, though.
This right here, despite our performance the past 3 seasons on the field, should be a boon to our recruiting. We should be trading spots with Bama, UGA and LSU for recruiting classes, because the kids still have a platform at Florida. If we were a 9-3 or 10-2 team right now, we're probably #1 on this list. People do indeed love the Gator brand.
Classic Billy era, lower expectations so much that he get effusive praise for achieving an average result. The house was on fire and Billy put it out. Many are high fiving him for putting out the fire. While others are asking why was it ablaze in the first place? The later are of course referred to as whiners, downers, etc.
Accused of crying because you are not celebrating 1 win vs a ranked team, can't make this shit up. And yes, it's only 1, otherwise GT beat a top 10 FSU.
Billy moved into a house with faulty wiring and a gas leak. The previous owner had a lot to do with the fire.
