They lost to Kissimmee Osceola 41-35. Trace was 35/48, 409 yds, 4 TD, 3 INT

Are they still running the flexbone? I haven't tuned in the a game in a couple of years, so I'm unsure.

 

Turnovers killed them. They gave a lot of short fields to Osceola.

 

They are not. I'm not sure if they ditched it before then, but pretty sure it went away when Helton became head coach in 2021.

 

This will show my age, but when I was matriculating at GS, they were running it. Since Tracy Ham (of Alachua, FL) was the QB, we called it the Hambone.
They won a Div 1AA natty the year I graduated and started grad school at UF. Fun times!

 

I was in high school but I remember Georgia Southern's run in the 80s - they won back to back with Tracy Ham.
