These guys are so articulate and such fine representatives - much more so than I would have been at that age, for sure.

 

Losing a TE to Gus is laughable!

We lost a TE to him a couple years ago and the kid spent his final season catching 7 passes for UCF.

I noticed that too... Well-spoken young man. He's a great addition to our football program.

 

Except he wants to be a receiver not a TE..that's why UF isn't signing him..guess fsu promised he could be a receiver

 

Would have liked to have him in the class, but I am less disappointed in that he spurned the Holes. My only complaint is that I would have loved to seen Wilson or Ffrench sign up to play with DJ. I think Billy will wish them well. Maybe remain friendly with Wilson for when he gets homesick

 

Are we pining for him?

 

This is what was explained by several sites... He wanted to play receiver, and we wanted him to play TE.

 

Heard we are talking to a UCF commit TE...guess he hasn't signed with UCF yet

 

UCF lost their head coach to be OC at FSU... Who is he talking to? You mean when Gus was there... Gotcha.

I was about to post about Boldin!

 

He thinks he is Josh Moore, but he is just another dude at receiver like a Fraziars. At hybrid TE he could be a weapon. Two years from now he will realize that but his opportunity will have run out and will be in an offense that doesn't know how to use receivers or TE.

 

We have 7 TEs returning next year.

Then there is the 3 underclassmen that started/played this year for us.

Then there is 2 freshman and a highly recruited HS TE coming in.

WHERE/WHEN WAS THIS TE KID, going to fsu, GOING TO PLAY??????

On film he looks exactly like Bordingham. He never would/could play WR for us.

The 6-3 200 lb WR Tounkara we took from Texas was also the teams Kick returner and Punt returner. Returning kick for TDs. The kid can play!

We don't need to sign a Portal Tight End.

 

I suspect all those guys wont be here next year. Im not speculating on who as theyre all gators but something has to give if we keep signing.

 

I thought about him, too. About the same time frame, we were in a recruiting battle with Phat Phil for a DT/OL. SOS told him he his future was OL, but he wanted to play DT and Phat Phil agreed. Within in year he was switched to OL. Both he and Boldin were first round draft choices at the positions SOS recruited them for.

And was it Muschamp that recruited Derrick Henry as a LB??? Bad move.
