I don't think he's signed yet, he's not listed on the home page tracking list. ON3 still lists him as a commitment, not a signee.

 

McCloud doesn't seem to be official or have I missed something?

 

Read he committed at his announcement. Maybe services have slowed their updates after the morning frenzy?

 

Doesn't look like UF has acknowledged it yet. The sites have been pretty quick to update as soon as UF does. He did his announcement for UF, but maybe UF hasn't received the paperwork yet. Hopefully just a formality.

Same on 247, and the uf football twitter page that's been uploading commitments all day hasn't acknowledged it either. My guess is the paperwork isn't in. UF isn't allowed to talk publicly about the recruits until they sign. Once they post it's official, other sites will follow suit.

What’s going on with gelsey? FSU got their WRs (including a Gus UCF flip) so hopefully he sees that PT as WR May not happen at fsu.

 

I believe his signing is scheduled for 6pm.

 

Leaning FSU at the moment. Insiders are saying he is torn at this time. Dad is big FSU fan. Grew up watching the Seminoles. So this one we might lose, but all in all we did great today. The portal will shore up needs and we have seen Billy do well in this department. Go Gators!

 

Can't we get a quality TE/WR in the portal? There has to be a Kyle Pitts out there somewhere. Come on Billy's Army. Let's find that freakish TE that will become a first round draft choice

You are predicting Thomas goes to LSU and Gelsey to FSU?

 

I'm good with this haul honestly. Get a few key portalers and call it great. The question is.....do you grab them during the fall portal period or wait for spring. The difference is spring will have kids from the playoff teams.

 

I think you go fall. Spring seems to be more guys that can’t beat out others. If people are leaving a playoff team, I’d say there is likely something going on. I’d rather get people that are excelling at lower tier schools that aren’t in the playoffs and want to prove something.
