2025 Class

We all know what that means. It's just the nature of the business model these days.

 

No offense to the kid and I’m sure he just wants to make the right decision, but a borderline 3/4-star prospect probably doesn’t have the luxury to wait too long. If he doesn’t decide soon, Florida and Tennessee will probably fill his spot with a ready-to-play transfer in an instant.

 

No inside info from me Bobby, but is there any chance DJ Pickett (Zephyrhills) still unsigned has anything to do with the hold?

 

Well if we are in the mix, great. We have three DB signees and for me, 4 is the minimum. I realize we can portal but would like another HSer.

 

Explain please. Any smoke or hope Pickett stays home and signs with us?

 

I'm hoping Bobby has some clue. Pickett has been bounced around by other posters and even on a few lists but I have no info to add. Just one of those things that make me say hhhmmmm....

 

For sure and he doesn't have to sign today. Hope he knows that.

I think Gelsey is supposed to sign at 6. Still no word that McCloud's paperwork has been received. Anyone else would be a flip or new commitment.

The way Napier is talking during his presser right now makes me a little worried about gelsey

Really surprised we didn’t land more top wide receivers with the lagway draw. VB should be great but Ffrench or Dallas would have been helpful. We’ve hit two years in a row on the portal but a third in a row may be tricky.

Says portal TBD depending on who we lose, who is available and who we signed today. Evaluating every position and expects a lot of visits because there is no limits now.

 

Nope. Dude is torn. Still weighing his options. Tennessee fighting hard here. He has through Friday to sign. It isn't a one day only deal today.

 

Gelsey also wants to be a WR. We are recruiting him as a TE/Hybrid. I think it is time to accept we won't keep him in this class. But wow what a hall today and to think we were 51st a month ago. I'll take top 10. The portal also changes things. These signing days are only the beginning now. Go Gators!!
