I forgot they gave that raise to norvell in part to fend off bama. Not sure how interested they really were that’s an interesting what if.

also read ucf went after Riley. Which I give them credit for, I have to assume he laughed at them

That definitely crossed my mind too. Not sure what kind of money ucf can throw at him but he could have another couple of seasons like the past few at usc, get fired, collect his buyout and then still get a ucf type job

 

I mentioned that too... in another thread. Remember that he took over for Gene Chizik at Auburn to become their head coach after being hired as an OC, so you never know why he was hired and by whom.

The Noles foolishly gave Norvell a giant contract extension after his smoke and mirrors 2023 season, and now they are screwed.
