Big News Coming

Our coaches have definitely proven they know what they’re doing in building through HS recruiting and working the portal to fill holes. Whatever happens tomorrow and beyond, we’re in good hands.

I’m looking forward to watching what Billy can do with some actual momentum for a change. It’s been a long time coming and it’s nice to be able to enjoy the ride now

(Agreed), UF wound up National #7, last cycle, when combining both ESD and Portal. I would be overjoyed to see UF inside the top 10 in the overall, or match / exceed 7th.

I would "expect" to sign 3 or 4 more guys tomorrow some that we might not even expect. And I also suspect that we might miss out on one or more of the payers we felt were going to flip to the good guys.
Your expectations are a bit higher than mine, but I'm all in big Rick! UF gets 3 or 4 more, I imagine we are closing in on a #5 or #6 ESD ranking, depending of course on "who" they are.

That's just how it works. Some guys might even be plucked from our recruiting class... you never know. And the weird part is that we might even know it, but have an eye on someone else instead.
Agreed, I'm hearing one of UF's tight end signee's could flip to FSU. In fact I would be shocked if UF did not have a couple that went elsewhere, given the way it is nowadays. I do think the "late" commits bode very well though as compared to guys who committed during the summer. It makes little sense to me to commit and flip within a week or two.

We never know, but if these coaches are smart, they would write all these things down so that one day they can write a BOOK on the inner workings and craziness that happens in college football recruiting. I know I would read it.

Its fairly necessary just for optics to close strong. We already have filled most needs and can finish up in the portal but need to look good doing it tomorrow.

 

First time in a while tgat i have expectations of a successful season. Still a mounta to climb but we may be feeling even more optimistic this time next year. Ive been looming to lagways Junior year since he signed. He may get there quicker than i thought as i was thinking next year would be his first starts. He showed alot being immobile and green and getting the job done.
