Which is my problem with it, in both instances. A criminal legal system that positions certain people above the law based on their power, privilege, or wealth is not one anybody should respect.

 

A criminal conspiracy to overturn an election, and stealing classified docs and trying not to return them isn't quite the same as.....tax violations and a gun registration violation, though, is it?

 

"Equal justice under law" is bullshit and does not deserve to be etched on the edifice of the scotus.

 

The look on Trump's face was priceless when Biden is talking about the former intelligence officers.

If we compare the number of charges that perpetrators have escaped I can think of others who have benefited a lot more from my privilege than Hunter

 

By all appearances, he is coping well with his drug addiction issues. Surprised you don't know more about the disease. I represent people in Drug Court all the time that don't have a famous last name, don't come from a family of wealth and do quite well in the program. You really need to get up to speed on treatment options. Not all drug addicts are doomed to a life on the street.

Once again although he had the authority to do so Trump never followed the formal procedure for declassifying any documents before he left office. Proclaiming that he did so after he left the White House doesn't cut it.

The ignorance is astounding with this one. Using is a choice, whether one becomes addicted is not. Recovery is not as simple as saying " don't use".
