Fareed Zakaria: Democrats were forward looking. Not anymore

Meh. The Dems won by a smidge 4 years ago and held up well 2 years ago and this year gained 2 house seats and lost 3 senate seat with a tough map.

inflation pushed the slight lead dems had to the pubs. It’s no big realignment.

 

Yeah, the Democrats aren't forward thinking enough.

But the Trumppublicans were : "They're eating the dogs and cats!" is downright futuristic.

Racist lies about FEMA giving all the disaster relief money to illegal immigrants was Nostrodamus-like.

Democrats' "fault" wasn't....whatever this guy says. It was failing to craft an enticing smorgasbord of racism, fake promises, and lies like the other guy did. That's what has been shown to win over the American voters.

Haven't watched the video yet but interesting to me if he does not think inflation/the economy was among the top three issues.
