this is incorrect. djt did not get 50% of the popular vote. not much of a mandate when you don't even get 50%
obviously a demon baby and we are so fortunate we have such a strong leader to protect us from it. all praise to trump..smdh at this cult
Is it bad that some people are above the law? It makes me laugh that a person who so eagerly supports a corrupt criminal is absolutely certain that his political opponents must themselves also be criminals. Why do you care? Clearly, it doesn't matter to you if somebody is a criminal. Do you need to convince yourself that you were justified in supporting one criminal because everybody else is just as bad? True or not, they indicted him for criminal behavior. He was convicted of it by a jury of his peers (and then pled guilty to other crimes). He should face the consequences of his actions. The pardon didn't correct an "injustice." It just confirm again that our system too often enables the wealthy, privileged, and powerful to evade accountability.
yes is it bad that prosecution and implementation of the punishment is being used as a political tool to punish enemies area all crimes equal
It's bad when those things are used as political tools, period. Yet, that is a common occurrence in our criminal legal system. Prosecutors in Florida, for example, are all elected. How do you think that influences their use of prosecutorial discretion?
Not true, if he is called to testify he cannot take the 5th amendment anymore and would have to testify. He can't be tried for it but could testify against other people.
you and I both know what would happen if the Pubs called Hunter to testify against Joey however, in retrospect it is good they cannot as there are a lot more important things they need to work on
Hunter Biden never brokered peace deals in the Middle East. He never accomplished anything. He was given everything. Kushner was the lead for the historic Abraham Accords.
I fully expect the party that cried about lawfare and the weaponization of the DOJ to applaud this move by Diamond Joe, however I do expect some Democrats to speak out against this
You've just described 99.9% of the pardons granted. The injustice was him being in that position to begin with. Hunter Smith doesn't get charged with those crimes under those circumstances, Hunter Biden does. That's the injustice.
