It will be referenced any time a POTUS pardons someone in the future or promises not to pardon someone.

Again, did you think Joe was going to allow that? If you liked the SCOTUS' ruling in Trump's case about officials duties of the POTUS, you cannot be complaining about how Biden used his official duties of the office.

Let me ask you this, if Hunter Biden is guilty of all the things you think, how long do you think it will be before he puts himself back in legal jeopardy and will not have protection from his father?

I think that the bigger story here is that the dems were banging the drum that Biden said that no one is above the law and then, predictibly, changes course and they all defend him. He will soon blanket pardon himself for anything he has done over the last decade. LOL

I'm aware of that but this was always going to happen. I'm not sure why you are surprised.

I'd just be patient and eventually a lot of the details are eventually going to come out now that the Bidens are no longer helpful to the Democratic Party.

I don't think anyone is surprised by anything that his administration does.

I think that was part of the deal Pelosi and Obama made with Biden to get him out of the race. If Republicans had been in the same position, they would likely be doing the same thing.

The president has these rights. There was no reason for it to be part of any deal. Joe knew he was going to do this when he told the american public that he would not.

But for Hunter's last name, he never would have been in this position to begin with. This pardon corrected an injustice, it did not create one.

The Party coming out and defending his actions is not a power of the office, that is what Biden wanted from them.

Maybe. Like Ford and Nixon I'm guessing? If so, then just in passing and, again, nobody will really give a crap unless (like we can see today) they're trying to score some political points and do a TD dance in their opponent's faces. Come on man. Look at the posts from these MAGA people. They're clearly not serious actors.

Because Biden is worried about his legacy and likely his family members having future opportunities in the Democratic Establishment.

No, Hunter is done. He is too politically toxic for anyone to touch. I think more about Jim Biden and some of the grandchildren.

I would agree it will be brought up like Ford and Nixon when it comes to anyone from in an Admin getting convicted of a federal crime.
