If Trump had welcomed the FBI to search his premises as Biden did, didn't lie about the disposition of the classified documents and didn't try to conceal them he would have never been prosecuted. Keep in mind that Mike Pence also had classified documents in his possession, cooperated with the authorities and like Biden there was never a recommendation that he be prosecuted.

Do you also find it strange that there was a DOJ-appointed special counsel who was.....investigating Joe Biden while Biden was President?

And yet now that Trump is President, the special counsel investigators, who are actually investigating things pertinent to grand jury felony criminal indictments, will all be instantly dismissed.

Does that seem a little bit dissimilar to you?

I wonder why that is? Joe Biden letting an independent Justice Dept do their jobs? Trump doing, well, the diametric opposite.

Serious question; what explanation would you have for this difference?

What explanation do you have for Biden pardoning his son for any crimes committed over the past decade. What else has Hunter done? That is a bit strange.

After nicely requesting that he allow them to come and pick them up - and being denied by Trump. . . Because he's literally 3 years old. They even made that point when contrasting it with Biden. They asked Biden, he said, "Come and get them". They asked Trump and . . . he got all mad and fought them on it. He is literally the Hansel and Gretel of leaving evidence trails.

You just made that up. You're doing that in every thread. It's an acknowledgment that Americans don't really care if Presidents act in a way that is personally beneficial - see Trump's business dealings intertwined with his office or attempt to overturn an election. No one cares so why should Biden? It is an unfortunate place we are in that ethics and decorum don't really matter to anyone.

Then why not just pardon him for the crimes of which he was convicted?

I assume he doesn't want some other process crime to come up. I am not defending the pardon. I don't like it. But I get it as there is zero downside these days to being an unethical grifter. In fact, you can win elections being that way.

Let's not forget that Robert Hur the Special Counsel responsible for conducting the investigation of Joe Biden was a former Trump appointee. Keeping that it mind it sure looks like Hur's decision to portray Biden as a cognitively diminished elderly man was motivated by politics. Merrick Garland bent over backwards to avoid the appearance of the political bias in the administration of the DOJ. Besides Hur Garland's other notable appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate a Biden was David Weiss the special counsel responsible for investigating and prosecuting Hunter Biden who was also a former Trump appointee . Jack Smith the Special Counsel responsible for investigating Trump was a career prosecutor who held high level DOJ positions in both Democratic and Republican Administrations. Within less than two months we will be transitioning from a DOJ that genuinely tried to avoid the appearance of political favoritism to the most politicized DOJ in history. It's already rather obvious than when Trump tells Pam Bondi to jump her response will be "how high sir?".

Maybe because a Trump Administration DOJ and FBI obsessed with retribution will conduct endless investigations of Hunter Biden possibly leading to frivolous prosecutions.
