The chances are that virtually all of them used the firearms that they illegally acquired in the commission of other crimes. Lying on a federal gun purchase form is almost never prosecuted as a stand-alone cirme.

 

Brother, our definition of "nuance" is very different. In the world I live in, using your power to allow your son to commit crimes without facing consequences is not acceptable. There are a lot of things I can and will compromise on. This isn't one.

If you're going to have a criminal legal system and prisons (and we should), there should not be any Americans who are above the law. Otherwise, how do you justify this system and its punishments to the normal people who don't get out of jail free cards?
