Jordan Castell disappearance?

He got injured. For the record, that is Asa Turner, Jordan Castell, Aaron Gates, JaKeem Jackson, Devin Moore and Jason Marshall missing from the secondary by the end of the regular season. Hats off to Johnson, Thornton, Denson and Smith for holding it down in the sceondary long enough for our Dline to wreak havoc.

 

Saw Grimsley out there too. Both he and Smith played 4 games or less so they didn’t burn their redshirt.

 

This speaks well for our secondary coach Will Harris. He has pieced together a lineup with band aids and zip ties.
I liked the Harris hire when I first read about him. Seemed like an upbeat guy who would bring positivity and energy to the table and could recruit. Now it looks like the guy can coach too.

 

Is Banks okay? Went out early and did not return. Hopefully just an ankle sprain

 

Don't forget about Bridges who might be the defensive MVP in the second half of the season. I knew he went out for at least one play dinged up, but still managed a team leading 74

CBN said Gates will need surgery, but no details.
