There were plenty of compelling reasons to cut this coaching staff some slack but i guess being " hurt" or "embarrassed" rules out patience(or thinking?). And, by the way, the game in Tally isn't nearly as important as the media blatherers make it out to be.
I am looking forward to a fully healed, more mobile DJ next year...who is gaining the confidence in his in-the-pocket skills, which are at a high level for SEC QBs already this year, which alone will make him a lot of money, while still having the mobility that will make him even more. He will give fits the way Tebow did, but with (IMO) a much savvier brain. Get a Harvin back with him...and a BSpikes / BSiler to lead the defense...Oh my.
No? We just flipped THREE of their recruits. Florida moved up from a sub 50 class all the way to #17 since the LSU game. Single games matter with recruiting momentum. A win is extremely important Saturday.
I don't agree. At one time I would have but recruits these days(and threir agents) are considering factors more important than any one game. IMO anyway. If your talking about one particular recruit i agree.

Gotta admit, it's the fans that showed up at The Swamp and showed out - no grumbles or boos - that told me that what we see here on this site is NOT reality. Many here go to the games, true, but I bet most don't. They scroll, they read SM posts from people jonesing for clicks, they follow influencers that put click-bait headlines, and they think "This must be the crowd I'm hearing about." It's not real, folks. I'm glad for those fans that never quit on making The Swamp a great place for the young men to learn lessons about what it means being a IAKOW Gator.

Let's not get too carried away. There are still 9 SEC teams that have classes ranked ahead of ours. For once, I'd like to be in the running for the best class in the conference. We're not even close to that. Let's pump the brakes and see how things finish out.

Yes, but that is basically volume based. Our average per recruit is razor close to many and sone are ranked ahead of us based on just having a larger class. Several without a single 5 star guy. Billy also had the #6 transfer class last season and just beat Kiffin who had the top transfer class. This class looks to be very competitive with most of the SEC. Bama will start to fall off here very soon. The momentum shift is like nothing I have never seen. And all while saving the buyout money and keeping continuity? What's not to be excited about
