in that case sure a full year compared to 3/4 of a year is gonna give you less numbers, that’s true for almost every company on Earth.

Sigh. Of course I'm not trying to compare 3/4 of 2024 to a full year of 2023. Tesla produced and sold more cars in the first 3 quarters of 2023 than it did in the first 3 quarters of 2024.

 

Never said it was a big drop off. Never even implied it was a big drop off. Simply said Tesla produced and delivered more cars in the first 3 quarters of 2023 than it did in the first 3 quarters of 2024.

What is a very big drop off however is the growth of sales and production for Tesla. Using your numbers in post 47, Tesla production grew by 47% in 2022 and 35% in 2023. It's going to be around 0% in 2024, depending on Q4 production. That is a huge drop off in growth.
