Meh those numbers were about as accurate as the polling data.
If she was so loved she would not have lost worse than HRC.

While that’s your opinion and yeah Trump sucks, 70+ million Americans don’t agree.
It shows the Dem candidate was worse than a shit sandwich…

Or there are other things that matter. For example, do you think John McCain would have performed better against Barack Obama if he ran in 2012 instead of 2008?

Nope, even him being older aside. McCain didn’t run a great race.

People don't vote with their pocketbooks, they vote with an emotion-driven perception of their pocketbooks. The bottom 50% of households hold almost twice as much wealth as they held in Q1 2020. 50-90% of households added almost $17 trillion in wealth during this period. Even with population growth and inflation, people are worth more than they were worth 4 years ago, especially those in the bottom 50%.

The Fed - Table: Distribution of Household Wealth in the U.S. since 1989

The issue is that people don't actually put together an accounting of their pocketbook. They base it more on feelings, which is when you start to see issues that, theoretically, shouldn't matter start to become the only things that matter, such as salience of price changes, biases around how changes are framed (loss aversion from prospect theory), motivated reasoning, etc.

You’re still missing the point, you can throw all the numerous out there to show how much better people are than 4 years prior. When the average guy is spending a lot more for things that’s what they see. I hear all the time how few own stocks so do you think they care about the DOW being up big, or the house values up big when they rent and just saw huge rent increases?

As smart as many are here you guys still don’t get it.

Maybe the “wealth gap” explosion has led to this “feeling” you think swayed the votes.

The perception that djt and his minions are going to do anything to help them is one of the greatest cons ever. oil prices are dropping and price wars at fast foods are breaking out due to loss of business. djt did that, in case you didn't know...

rent..remember that data accumulation company that helped the overwhelming number of landlords set rent creating a defacto monopoly..what ae the odds that Biondi decides to purse that case? who loves a good monopoly more than VC guys like Thiel?

and understand that case is about using algorithms to predict prices, everyone uses a similar algorithm, monopoly, you just agree to set prices in the algorithm instead of at the golf course.

think this case is going to go forward?

Oh I doubt much gets done on what you’re asking about.

Perhaps they allow the US to sell LNG overseas and we can maximize our production capacity. (if that’s possible).

No idea if that case you mention goes forward.

I do know most people who rent property use a formula based on market value to get 8-10% ROI, at the “pros” do. I’m sure big companies buy properties have an even more sophisticated way. Personally having owned rentals for 30+ years I’ve never paid much attention to that. Likely left a lot of money on the table over the years but I’d rather keep a good renter for years than make a few extra bucks every month.

Again, the group with the highest percentage increase in wealth over the last 5 years? The bottom 50%. In terms of wages, you want to know who has seen the most growth? The bottom 2 quartiles. Both have been having wage increases higher than inflation for years now.

    Wage Growth Tracker

Basically, anybody willing to switch jobs. And lower income workers jump jobs a lot more.

Stop trying to make this either an accurate representation of condition or into some sort of a cognitive decision. It is neither. It is a bias arising from emotional processing. Political professionals need to figure out what to do with that and how to manage biases. I just state what happens.

Considering the Congress he had to work with, he had a remarkable 4 years. I don't expect people to recognize that now, many are the same people who put a convicted felon/sexual abuser/serial liar back in the White House, but history will treat him far more fairly.

I am extremely thankful he ran in 2020.

Okay, yeah, I am confused. Are you telling me that people voted based on prices being higher? They blamed the Democratic candidate for prices going up and voted against them? Is that what you're saying?

we already sell LNG overseas and our export capacity is running full steam with more already approved to be built into a glut of LNG coming in 28 as plants worldwide being built.

if you aren't familiar with that case, you should read it. big landlords price fixing by using a shared "consultant" to set prices for them. would be like Target and Walmart getting together with Amazon and hiring a consultant to help them agree on what the best prices would be for all of them

Thanks I’ll look into it. What % or rentals are owned by the groups that were doing this?

Curious why our Nat gas prices are so much lower than that in Europe? I heard on CNBC the US was limited by law in selling over seas, was that info incorrect?

I know you’re up on this stuff so hence my question to you….
