His real nickname was "Otter". He had buck teeth from sucking his thumb too long, but my parents would not let us call him "Beaver", so we had to come up with another name. My wife and I don't care about what her friends have, so my daughter had a flip phone for a few years. H.S. soccer forced us to get her an iPhone so she could get updates on practices and games.
