    To be fair
It is an OLD article with very few people interviewed.
I still don’t like the idea of a school going to a job fair at a church..
But this does seem to be a leftist circle jerk christian bashing thread. I mean it is two years old? Be honest. If certain right wing posters had started this thread yall
Would have bashed them for not being researching when this actually happened, it so old, do your research..etc..

Why was a 2+ year old thread with 12 posts resurrected?

We know the answer. They can try to deny it but we know.

It’s a great chance to bash Christian’s. OB has made a habit of it. It’s 2 years old. It’s a one off story. It has only a few people interviewed. And we have many jumping on board, commenting without reading the article. Even after it’s pointed out that this is one and a slanted article.. still here they are supporting it and the OP. Why? Because it’s anti christian, anti right wing.
    What purpose do you think?

I can't speak for Chemgator's intentions when he revived it. But it looks to me like he ran across a story about a teacher objecting to what she saw as boys becoming more aggressive with rude jokes and behavior. She particularly mentioned boys making jokes about rape.
He could have started a new thread, or perhaps he remembered that there was a previous thread about normalizing rape, so he added it to that.
The new story didn't mention Christians or religion.

I read the article. The district's defense explicitly contradicts your claim of it being a one off event (they claimed that this was a regular event like they had held for years). Maybe they aren't telling the truth there, but saying that it was a one off doesn't seem like much of a defense given that the district is trying to argue the opposite.

What is wrong with the article in terms of the number of people interviewed? How many should they have interviewed? How was it "slanted?"

It should be noted that EBR Parish Schools and the former Superintendent are both being sued for this and a federal judge just let the cases go forward last month.

Why would that thought ever cross their mind? This was always about indoctrination, period. In fact, they all probably agreed that it was a GREAT idea. And all that shady malfeasant stuff made it even more awesome.

So, the "Day of Hope", held at the Living Faith Christian Center in Baton Rouge, is NOT a religious event?
    Okay, sure.
Next thing you'll tell me is the LSU game isn't a sporting event.

Why do they run from it? It was clearly a Christian indoctrination event. Presumably, she's a Christian. Why not just own it? It's Baton Rouge, not San Francisco. Everyone knows this anyway.

Do you still call him Dufus? . . . And, of course it's the little brother.

P.S. This is why I love DeSantis attempt to ban it. It's not so much of a "ban" as a tool for parents who actually want to address this too, but have to deal with the "but Johnny/Jenny's got one" factor and the loser parents who give into every one of their child's whims.

The whole "incel" sexless trend among Gen Z men maybe? You know, the one liberals like to mock.

But, as you say here, it's not the game, it's the chat. If they were having the same chat over a game of Mario Cart would that make it better?

This seems to be more of an AI/quality issue. If he was hand drawing them, would that make it different. Also, it's just what AI "thinks" they look like naked, not a photo. So, in reality, they're just looking at a high-quality cartoon with your head attached. Creepy for sure, but not the same as cameras in your bedroom.

IDK, but along these lines, were are due for a revival of QGator's goofy "the trans are coming to get us thread" where he sources some goofy race in some small town and links us to some local "paper" that seems more akin to a shopper than an actual news outlet. Oh my! Clutch my pearls!!!!

The article is two years old. The thread is two years old! Details, details.

Not sure why it was “revived”, I’m guessing a spambot bumped it before chem added another reply.
