Not yet, don't see it. Better tackling and eye for the ball . Improved for sure, but ole Miss WRs dropped several catchable balls with at least one that would have been a TD.

If it is a small step, at the least it is in the right direction.

I watched the replay as well. The Gator D was like swarm of mad hornets when it came converging to the ball.

They do seem to take much better angles to the ball, and show up en masse, and at speed. So fun to watch them now.

And as we saw last week against the Corndogs, there is no quit in them.

It has been so long since we had a defense. I love it!!

Marshall, Moore, Jackson, Turner, Douglas, and Gates have all been starters. I think Dijon has been playing hurt. Even Cormani who played a half is hurt.

Simply amazing how they have held the backfield together to beat contenders.

So many injuries to CBs and they still played well against a senior QB that is one of top in nation and had completed 70 percent of his passes. New Secondary coach is doing well. I could see players pointing to WRs, players in motion, and telling them this is your guy. Young and still learning but there is talent there.

Gates was one of the players dunking into the Ole Miss hoop after the game so i think he’s ok.

No doubt our db's are playing very good but without the pressure given by our DL of late, I'm not sure this would be a topic.
