I know our Dbs need work, but I haven't seen hits like that from our Dbs in years! Reminds me a bit of Lawrence Wright.

I'll have to watch the replay to get the numbers of those buses, although I'm sure you folks could help!

    Go Gators!

You're probably too young to remember Louis Oliver and Jarvis Williams in the same defensive backfield. Anyway, agree with OP - it's great seeing us delivering some hits out there!

The game started with Major Wright as Mr. 2 Bits and they showed his famous hit from the NC game. Then, like 2 plays in, we saw a live reenactment on the field. Lots of great plays in the secondary! Then at least twice more at the end of game.

Don’t forget Adrian White at SS who knocked Bo Jackson out of the game in ‘84 & ‘85 also Ricky Easmon and Vernell Brown at the other Cb. Best Gator defensive backs ever imo

Ask Melvin Bratton or Joey Kent if the Gators have had any hard hitting DB's.

Offense is exciting, but a hard hitting defense is what stirs my cynical soul!

This. I love great offense. But nothing brings the satisfaction of a defense that crushes the souls of your opponent.

    Love to see it.

I was shocked we didn’t get a personal foul for jacking up a “defenseless “ receiver on the next to last drive. Somebody clocked a dude pretty good on an uncatchable ball. Caught a break there.

Lawrence. On a pass from Peyton Manning. Still to me the greatest Gator hit ever.
