    I still remember reciting the Lord's Prayer every morning in elementary school "Our father who chart in heaven Harold be thy name".

    Yes, that's what the prayer sounded like to a 7-year old Jewish kid who had never heard the prayer until he was required to recite it in school.

    Jesus was Jewish. Nothing in "the Lord's Prayer" is offensive to Jewish teaching; its steeped in Jewish tradition. Jesus prayed it as a rabi, before he was deemed offensive to the Jewish authorities (rather, a threat to their authority).
