Don't have to believe in "conspiracies" or that it has anything to do with wanting a coach fired to still press the issue of the significant discrepancy in scheduling, particularly the number of teams coming off a bye week before our game. We did our own scheduling away from patsies with additions of Miami, Utah, fsu(not this year lol) but the whole disproportionate amount of games against aTm as especially juxtaposed against our permanent game against LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, etc makes it total b.s.

The biggest issue trying to figure out what we are is that in our toughest games since the UCF bye week, we had those not named DJL running the offense except UT on the road. I don’t think that game is an accurate depiction of our capabilities now that he’s had more reps with the ones. If he’s able to run Saturday, it will bring a whole new element to our game. We also got Johnson off the injury report giving us all kinds of toys out of the back field. Whatever OM may be susceptible to, this offense can do. I think this entire game comes down to our DB play. If they can prevent the big play, then this game is very winnable. It’s a shame we haven’t had our best 22 on the field since halfway through UGA.

"Out to get" isnt the same thing as not being in the good ole boys club..which is how many of us feel. From starting the SEC title game in Birmingham, to the inordinate penalties florida received in the 80s, to the calls and non calls against traditional powers auburn (spurrier called this out), Bama, Georgia and tennessee, to the scheduling discrepancies of recent years.

Some of the theories here have been over the top but florida has never received the benefit of much from the SEC.

    The "world" most certainly isn't.

    We're talking about the SEC.

In theory, we should have a relatively easier schedule in 2026-27. we’d play the teams we haven’t played in this schedule: Bama, Oklahoma, Auburn, Arkansas, Vandy, Mizzou, USCe, plus Georgia. Right?

True, but when they announced the expanded schedule, I recall that one of the selling points was that every team would play each other over a 4 year period. Who knows whether they were truthful then …

Honestly, I can do without the called QB runs. Thats what got him hurt in the first place. We have so many RBs that can run the ball. The only reason he should be running is a QB scramble. I have seen what the team looks like with the 3rd string QB, and it’s way way way worse than a non-running DJ.

I am pretty sure the SEC schedule is the same except the games are flipped home and away.
