This will be interesting. Elon threatened to arrest ICC judges if they did this

ICC issues arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister, and several Hamas officials. The court accuses them of war crimes and crimes against humanity related to the ongoing war in Gaza and the October 2023 attacks that sparked Israel's offensive in Palestinian territory
These warrants make Netanyahu, and others, internationally wanted suspects, likely deepening their diplomatic isolation and complicating efforts to negotiate a ceasefire in the 13-month-long conflict. However, the practical influence of the warrants may be limited, as Israel and its key ally, the United States, are not members of the ICC. Additionally, several Hamas officials named in the warrants have since been killed in the fighting

Marvelous. Maybe they should have issued warrants for the arrests of the Hamas, Hezbollah, Syrian and Iranian terrorists before they collaborated to invade Israel?

I know people (Americans) think we are the 'good guys,' but you have to wonder how it appears to the world when American oligarchs are threatening the United Nations over prosecuting genocidal war criminals.

Sure, after they had been killed. Taking action, say, two years ago, three years ago, etc....maybe would have prevented the invasion that provoked the on-going response?

Not sure why people want to distill everything down to simple terms such as "good guy" or "bad guys".

However, terrorists attacked 3 buildings in the United States and our response was a multi-decade war that included bombing people in caves to the pre-caveman days.

Imagine the US response if thousands of organized Mexican terrorists, organized and trained by China, came across the border with Texas and murderer and kidnapped and raped and tortured thousands of mostly twenty-somethings and younger? Imagine them video taping playing games of trying to shove the largest objects up the rectum of a twenty something female soldier and finally doing enough damage that she bled to death? Imagine the collective outrage of the United States.

What do you suppose the US response would be?? I can assure you that we would not even pretend to be "good guys" and no Mexican civilian would stand a chance.

They did also issue arrest warrants for Hamas leaders at the same time…. It’s just not a sexy headline

If the US were de facto occupying Mexico and forcing them out of their homes to put American settlers in them, I would say that would be the kind of thing you should expect from people determined to resist such a thing.

Sure if we are talking what ifs, maybe we could go back to before 1948 and not allow the orginal crime to happen at all. But what is done is done.
