Yeah I'm done arguing this point, when they post links that prove your argument and then argue against their own links, what more can you say.

Where is that? Is that Imperial or San Diego?

Looks like a mountain. Are you arguing that migrants are climbing the mountain?

Wait, isn't that what you are doing? Posted an article talking about how insecure the California border was and now have been trying to say how secure it is? I don't think you can secure the border.

There are parts of the border where motorized vehicles cannot access. The image above is part of the San Isidro mountains, likely In-Ko-Pah, which run near I-8. Highest peaks are over 4,500 feet in multiple areas. These aren't small hills, and walls here would have to be built by hand.

That's California. In Arizona, part of the border is on tribal land. They don't want walls. Other border parts are near Yuma, in dandy, desert conditions. And near Lukeville, the US side is the Organ Pipe National Monument.

Not only is building a wall here not easy, manning it 24X7 would be even more difficult. There are no facilities for miles upon miles, and no place to house ICE Agents, who would need to be transported in and out daily. How does anyone propose we get Agents to those mountain tops? Or through Natoonal Forest? Or open desert?

It's easier to cut holes in the wall than to go over the mountain.

Tom Homan U-Turn on Deporting US Citizens

Later in the interview, Vega asked: "Why should a child who is an American citizen have to pack up and move to a country that they don't know?"
Homan said: "Because their parent absolutely entered the country illegally, had a child knowing he was in the country illegally. So he created that crisis."

According to the Pew Research Center, "Unauthorized immigrants live in 6.3 million households," 70 percent of which are "mixed status"—meaning U.S. citizens and immigrants residing in the country legally also live there.

Pew found that in only 5 percent of mixed-status households, unauthorized immigrants lived with people who were not family, suggesting that most undocumented migrants lived with a family member who is a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

In 2022, 4.4 million U.S.-born children lived with an unauthorized immigrant parent, Pew reported.

    I’m conflicted on deportations.

On one end you have lower labor costs and thus cheaper goods which creates the demand, on the other end these folks are living and working in conditions that we would never accept for ourselves.

    Slave labor was cheaper also.

Has to be a better solution than what we have.

they are here illegally and do not have the right to be here - as I have stated before not only would I have no problem booting them but would also go after the business owner who broke the law by hiring and paying them less money under the table. I am sure once the deportations start the media will be allover the palce trying to get videos of the illegal crying and screaming. My response would be you knew you were breaking the law to come here so I show no pity on you being booted. And if they are saying there are 11 million here illegally it is probably 3 times that amount and they ALL have to go.

Do you care one iota about the families that will be split? The businesses that will be closed? The citizens that lose jobs because they worked alongside the immigrants at businesses that are now closed? Other businesses also closing and more job losses because they catered to immigrants, who are now no longer in the country? The higher prices we'll all pay due to labor supply shortages? The increased government expenditures needed to house and deport the migrants? Increased government expenditures due to more unemployment and people on SNAP?

Does any of this matter? Or must the law always be followed no matter what, and we need to be slaves to the law? If yes, ever drive over the speed limit, steal something on accident, j-walked, ran a light...

Do you oppose deporting those illegals that have committed serious crimes in the country they are coming from?

No. Never have. First, let them finish their sentence. Second, deport them. We have more than enough citizen criminals here. No need to import more. Migrant workers who stay out of trouble and work in key industries like ag or construction? Different story.

13 year old gets forced into gang in El Salvador. Shoots someone to avoid being shot or watching his sister get pimped out. Risks life and limb to get mom sisters brothers out...? Send them packing?

Do you claim to be a Christian? Sounds like you hate your neighbors to me.

And what about citizen business owners forced to close? Citizens who lose their jobs? All of us paying higher prices?

they rolled the dice and broke the law - I have little sympathy for them for them- I had to follow the law when I owned my 4 restaurants, but based on how hard you are fighting on this issue I am wondering if you might be one of the businesses that are hiring illegals and paying them under the table

and for what its worth I do not hate anyone- life is way to short to be carrying around hate, but I am a straight shooter and believe in the rule of law and believe in following it - illegals have zero right to be here
