Transfer Portal Thread (Other Schools)

You have to think there is going to be tons of tampering going on, causing these kids to think another school is an option and then once the redshirt is taken the rug will be pulled out from under them.

 

If a kid has enough talent, that kind of baggage may be ignored but I wouldn’t put my eggs in any kids basket that quits on his team like that.

 

Can certainly see this happening - who knows if a coach in another staff that tampers and gets you in portal is still employed next season? Who knows what better players at your position enter the portal?

You gotta think that every coach in the country is evaluating UF's roster to see who to go after/tamper with since we have a dead man walking coach. There are some talented players on our roster, but they are very poorly led.

 

Or, some are thinking I could win with that roster and they are throwing their name in the hat.

 

I remember the day before he was set to commit, he was all Gator (crystal ball wise) then the day off, all the predictions flipped to Utah.

 

He would make a good addition for us.

Damn, he was the #3 edge rusher, behind Dallas Turner.

He hasn't played very much and he's only got 1 season to play. It would be a reach for him to come here. This looks like an FSU transfer.

 

Through 8 P4 games we had 16 sacks, which was on pace for last year's total, and it's clear we don't have a Bain, Swinson, Perkins type who can create havoc, so we need something to happen in the portal even if short term and in high school. This guy isn't that thing though.
