It is interesting how you equate voluntary selling of labor with involuntary taking of labor.

are they here legally right now? The answer is NO- so they gotta go
The people who knowingly hire illegal labor should be arrested as well

And the loss of GDP means nothing to you? Loss of businesses? Loss of jobs? Increased prices?

Maybe some mass deportations and the resulting negative economic impact might finally end the hyperbole and motivate politicians to pass a workable immigration policy. ( Optimistic, I know )

Has that actually been formally suggested?

I’ve only seen talk of the “criminals” who are here illegally getting sent back.

wrong..if you are here illegally, you better pack your bags...chicken ranches, slaughterhouses, migrant labor camps, local home depot..pick your spot, we know where to find em

being the good christian solldier he is, Homan no longer believes in splitting families where one is a citizen and one not, simply deport the whole family

Tom Homan: How will the 'border tsar' approach immigration?

Homan - an ex-policeman and former acting US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) director - has described immigration at the US border as "the biggest national security vulnerability this nation has seen since 9/11 and we have to fix it." Addressing illegal immigrants in the US during the Republican National Convention in the summer, he said: “You better start packing now.”

In an interview with CBS News's 60 Minutes in October, prior to Trump's election, Homan indicated he would seek to target non-criminal immigrants who are in the country illegally, after first prioritising "public safety threats" and "national security threats".
Such an approach would reverse Biden administration policies that direct Ice to focus on deporting serious criminals, national security threats and recent border crossers.

    .....................

Homan has said he didn’t write the policy memo that led to the separations, but he was one of three officials who signed it. He said he signed it “hoping to save lives”. Homan indicated that he would not seek to re-instate that policy. Rather, he has said families could be "deported together", when asked whether deportations could be carried out without separating families.

I really don’t think the admin has thought this through all the way, but purely from an academic perspective I’m curious to see how they operationally do this, how much it costs, and what it does to the ag sector and our food supply/costs.

my guess is people will ultimately regret this, either that or somehow blame democrats lol

That's an awfully strong position to take! It seems to ignore Jesus's warning to 'care for the least of us'. I must admit that I fall short myself, but I've yet to advocate for incarcerating millions of people who fled here for a better life, and who are, on the whole, enriching our culture.

I am good with enforcing our immigration laws and arresting business owners who hire illegals

If deporting the people who came here illegally, especially those with criminal records, causes a labor shortage it might force Congress to come up with the needed immigration reform.

Let’s play this out. For every business, individual, and organization that illegally hired them, what is your answer?

edit: I see you answered this above, so you are for throwing Americans in jail as well. At least you are consistent. Kudos to you.

    Cool. I’m happy for you.

But do you acknowledge that the entire Supply chain for your Firehouse subs was straight up migrant labor? So your prices on input costs were driven down by migrant labor and allowed you to charge a subsidized price for your sub?

When I owned the franchise I know for a fact that all our vendors had to show proof they only employed legal workers

Unlikely. You got your meats, cheese, bread flower, toppings, etc from a downstream vendor of a vendor of a vendor who has migrant labor. Along the supply chain someone white washed it — so “entire” might be an overstatement in your case and my strawman.
