I personally don’t care who we use to get the illegals out of here- they violated the law, they have no legal standing to be here- get them out by whatever means necessary
it isn't just criminals being rounded up if you need the military to do so but you know that it will be the ones screaming for deportation the loudest that will be crying when their lawn care, construction etc costs go up and they can't get the table bussed at their restaurant or their mom can't get her room cleaned at the ALF.
Heard it was using military trucks and planes to deport. Still a gray area to me. Using military personnel to actually capture folks is a huge red flag, and everyone should be alarmed.
But what if they inadvertently snare an extra few hundred white libbies in the process… And relocate them to Central America.
round every dad-gummed illegal and send them packing- hard to understand why anyone thinks the illegals have a right to be here- and at almost 73- I still do my own yard
Should be fun. Trump totally knows what he's doing! Grocery prices are high. Trump’s mass deportations could make matters worse https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/18/economy/economy-trump-deportation-grocery-inflation
High prices have been great for business profits. I hope Trump implements his company profit raising inflation actions so that my bonuses continue to max.
I can feel my life improving already. My wife is happy that the giggling camel lost. Things are looking up over here if you catch my drift.
Pick every fruit, veggie, and grain you and your family eats? Build every building you inhabit? Wash every dish you use yourself when you go out to eat? There are 8 million undocumented immigrants in our workforce. Many do jobs that will go unfilled without them. Unless you know several thousand citizens willing to be migrant farmers in the Central Valley, California and pick crops in temperatures over 100 degrees,. the potential losses are between $30 and $60 billion. That's a minimum of $30 billion worth of crops no longer in the market. What effect does this have on food prices? Ever take high school economics? Lower supply but basically same demand equals higher prices. What does this also do to Central Valley businesses like restaurants and grocery stores that serve these migrant workers? Can they stay in business if they lose a half or more of their customer base to deportation? I will never understand cheering a policy that will cost billions in government spending that causes billions in GDP loss and significant inflation. All in the name of what?
Strengthen the border (whatever that means). Large majority of Americans agree. Send back violent felons. Those two initiatives alone would be a substantial undertaking. But don’t do mass deportations where armed men pull up to a farm and start throwing families in trucks and haul them off. That’s not advisable on many different levels. And won’t happen.
Nope. Fair wages for labor. Legalize the immigrants to ensure they get paid at least minimum while giving them legal recourse if there are any unfair labor practices. I ask again. Do you honestly think there are 8 million citizens willing to work immigrant jobs? Heck, think they are thousands of citizens willing to pick crops in Central California under very difficult conditions? Or, are you good with a minimum $30 billion business loss?
