I haven't missed a home game in awhile...being in the Swamp with all my bother and sister Gators makes me happy...I enjoyed every minute of my time cheering our Gators on yesterday..Gainesville is my second home
Id love to do that exact thing but 2k everytime i travel, it needs to be worth it. Miami was fun for about half a quarter. The only other game that wasnt worth it was 6 or so years ago when fsu blew us out in the swamp. Ive been lucky and seen mostly great games. Bama was a loss but still a great game, we almost had em. The pick six on lsu and perines run against auburn are my two favorites of the last few years. Ive only been going the ladt ten years or so. 70's for wes chandler was my first time but it took many years to get back.
I had a Gator fan sitting next to me yesterday, graduated from UF in the 90s, lives in Ohio now, first game he got down here for since he graduated..his wife surprised him with the trip..he was thrilled and happy..wants to get to more games in the future and bring his kids
Seeet, i was at Tennessee last yrar and boughtbtix fir Arkansas right after. As the season went on , i decided to sell the tix for less than i paid.
I’m where you were and are at. It’s been a long road, I also heard some “insider” stuff yesterday RE Napier being retained so it seems like the most prudent choice at this time.
I have a friend who has an extra set of season tickets in Sec57 row 1, almost dead center behind the goalposts. (my son has caught 2-3 PAT the last few years). We were at UM and TAAM this year. The guys behind us said man “I’m glad you guys are back for this one, the other people don’t yell during the game”. Made me a bit sad that some don’t get up and holler, but lately I get it. Gators made it worth the effort and I can’t speak today. Next week is an early start, hate those noon games.
Did you take note of the OL push on Jackson’s TD following Badger’s reception. 3yds deep in the EZ. Looked very cohesive
Years ago I liked Sec 40 more but 57 is nice as you can see the plays develop better. Over the years my friend just kept getting the seats moved lower.
Ive got to drive early to make a noon game and then im beat. Rooms are two night minimum so i come in Friday night anyway. I may come to the fsu game but its either that or a trip to the rigs. Not sure which way im leaning.
Defense was on the field for about 42 minutes. They had to rotate people through or else they would be exhausted.
I tell people all the time how you can see the whole field and see plays develop from my seats..had these same seats since 1985..I love them
I don’t like the guy but to say he can’t compete in sec is not accurate. Year 1, 10-4 and won SEC west (over Bama) Year 2 10-3 Year 3 6-4 so far if that isn’t competing, what is our coach doing? guy might be a jerk but he can coach and won pretty much at every place he’s been.
@spike718, dude why the disagree? I don’t know what the “annnonced” attendance was but there were tons of open seats in the N end zone and plenty in the east stands.
That was coaching genius there. Didn’t really see too much drop off either overall with all the rotations.
