    I hoped that stop would be a harbinger of things to come in the game but my learned (over decades) “wait ‘til next year” gene would not let me get too optimistic. Due to the plethora of third and Granthams I wasn’t highly optimistic until Baugh broke the big one late. That was glorious.

    It reminded me of that 5 sack from Alex Brown alone game. That game made him millions in draft jockeying and I think it was Tenn at home.

    It reminded me of the goal line stand game. Totally different but still holding off what looked like their momentum and our kids resolve. That game yesterday is why i love college football.

    I'm talking about defense. All year we have been a hard fighting team inside the 5 of our goal. LSU DL just let our OL push them 3 yards into the end zone. That's an embarrassing lack of effort. Have to wonder if that team has internal problems despite all the talent and pretty solid x and o coaching.
