That is great and all, but DJ at this moment is not the #1 pick in any draft. He still has plenty of things to improve upon and if he does not, he will not be the #1 pick. He is not currently on Trask's Junior or Senior year level, but his throwing style is like what we saw from Trask in his earlier days. Yes, DJ ceiling is higher.

Just got home (awful traffic getting out of the parking garage...) Nice crowd..not that many lsu fans..crowd was loud.. And we finally broke the shoe jinx.. I really enjoyed the game..and more importantly..we won!

Just got back from the best game in the Swamp in a long time. Where were Banks and Sapp before tonight? They were beasts out there getting after Nussmeier. The crowd was rocking like in the old days and DJ was throwing some beautiful spirals downfield. The icing on the cake was evening up the all-time series with the Corndogs! Go Gators!
Just watched the highlights again. Freaking awesome. But I gotta tell ya, it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the game. The energy, the stress, the defense, the field goals, the back and forth. Man... As mentioned, a glorious win in the Swamp. A foreshadowing of things to come. These kids are special. They really are. I wish the best for them all. Onward and upward... Go Gators.
Watching on TV it seemed louder than it should have been when we had the ball. Were the LSU fans that loud? Maybe the TV mics were close to the corn dogs?

The D has gotten better as the year has progressed. Hampered by injuries but you can see the development and cohesion. Surrounding the ball, gang tackling, …. Not very good in zone coverage but getting better. Oregon transfer was major signing. See him everywhere in secondary.
