Maybe this is the game that turns the corner for us. If it is, it would be poetic justice for it was our loss to LSU in 2020 that seemed to send our program into a tailspin these last four years.
What a good game! A few bad throws by DJ but we got lucky. From immediate memory, even the bad throws were on point had the defender not been there. Dude is special. D played great, O played great, just gotta clean up those pre-snap penalties. Fun game to watch, go Gators!
Man oh man. LSwhoooooooooo goes down. A lot of team contributions, a jeckyl and hyde Defense. But we won this game for one reason. DJ freaking Lagaway. Playing gimpy and shooting radar guided missiles down field.
Defense on the field for almost 40 minutes and still played hard at the end. Lagway is a generational player!
That was some really tough defense at times and then 3rd and long or 4th and long and they give it up . . . then clamp down and stop LSU when it counted the most. They played super-hard all day though. 7 sacks against a team that had only allowed 6 all season?! I just have to celebrate! DJ throwing that ball so perfectly and effortlessly and still semi-injured. We're seeing another Gator Legend growing up right before our eyes, IMO.
That was fun. You can really see the team coming together and playing with huge passion. I hope Napier had something in mind and it actually worked, because I’d love to see this next week and to finish the season.
Team win, all 3 phases. DJ dropped some absolute dimes. Sapp showed up as Alex Brown bs UT reincarnated. Billy looked truely happy post game. The young bucks showed that the future is brightl.
