One of Trump's few positive attributes, his entertaining comedic dancing style.[/QUOTE] Oh, and I belong to the Y so another feather for me
I do believe this story linked below, especially considering Florida never investigated it, and the "unfortunate" fate of that man that was trying to extort $25 million from the Gaetz family...
Rick...are you going to complain about propaganda sources, while linking us to Tucker The Propaganda King Carlson?
Maybe you can watch Gaetz himself talk about this whole fabrication in his own words? Why don't you at least hear his side of the story... instead of the propaganda media? One more piece of FACT... The DOJ dropped the investigation. They never do that unless they have absolutely NOTHING.
I have heard him. My guess is he isn't going to say, "yep...ya got me...Im a sex trafficking child rapist, who snorts lines of coke off of my congressional desk" But again. Smoke = Fire
If Gaetz is innocent he shouldn't object to the release of the report of the House Ethics Committee to the Senate Committee that will be overseeing his confirmation or to the public for that matter and in fact should be encouraging release of the report and/or evidence. So far MAGA Mike Johnson has indicated that he will oppose release of the report gathered by the House Committee. Should be rather obvious that Gaetz has something to hide. Speaker Johnson moves to block release of ethics report on Matt Gaetz
DOJ dropped the investigation because they determined that there wasn't enough evidence to prove Gaetz guilty beyond a reasonable doubt the standard for a criminal referral not because that they determined that he was innocent.
Watch the video, he wants the FBI to release the tape they have in their possession. Isn't it continent that the DOJ dropped the case entirely? These people at the DOJ would have him UNDER THE PRISON if they had anything on Gaetz...
He wasnt proven anything and certainly not on everything. A lot of politicians with his views certainly make it through life without one, much less so many such accusations. Its like the kid getting suspended at school ,for smoking behind the school, cheating on tests, cussing at his teacher, skipping classes etc but claiming its all made up. At some point there is a reason that kid KEEPS getting accused of stuff.
You are misreading the history of the DOJ. Yes, if they come after you, you always lose and they put you under the jail...BUT that is only because they only continue cases they know are locks. The DOJ lets a lot of guilty people skirt based on evedence with some doubt.
This false accusation is far more serious to Gaetz and the truth than some kid in school skipping classes. But if you way to believe he's committed a crime, that is your opinion... but it's not a fact.
Lol... C'mon man... Did you see the videos I posted here in another thread of Gaetz shredding FBI Director Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland? Yeah, if they had anything on him, he would be in jail right now. Yeah... They have NO evidence of any wrong doing by Gaetz. Let's just agree to disagree.
You have absolutely NO idea what you are posting about here. You have never even been privy to prosecutorial decision making much less actually made such a decision.
Rick. I am saying you are misunderstanding the DOJ track record. The reason they never lose is they only prosecute slam dunks. Its like if Florida only played cupcakes in the Spurrier era. It wouldnt mean we were unbeatable or there werent other teams that could beat us. The DOJ doesnt waste resources if there is even a chance they might lose. Bit going back to my kid at school reference... I would not let my kids hang out with a kid with that many allegations...even IF he was never actually punished for them. That smoke isnt just coming from the kids enemies. The kid at the very least makes bad judgemental decisions that put him in questionable situations. I feel the same here. Plenty of squeaky clean options. Choosing someone to own the libs is childish and exactly why Trump is a problem for "our" side.
I do not know if the Senate will be in session enough days prior to the inauguration to vet and either say yay or nay on all his appointees, but we should have gotten through a few of them. My bet is they hold the AG approval hearings to near the end, so as to not make the whole process confrontational, because I do believe this one will be very nasty before it is over.
