These are the types who enjoy watching govt squander other people’s money.
    Nothing more.

From what I read today that neither of them are taking a salary and I don't think a few million or even a lot of millions really bother Musk.

I meant to revisit this sooner. You are right. I did move the goalposts. &, then got defensive about it. Sorry.

    Great headline in Fortune:

“Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency will ironically require two men to run it”

It really should say: "Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency will ironically require two UNPAID men to run it”[

are they unpaid? How about the staff they hire?

Elon Musk's DOGE is hiring. Here's the kind of person he's looking for.

Hopefully they consider the levels of federal benefits and helpful intervention into musk’s business.

    for example…..

“JD Vance suggested the US's support for NATO could bepulled if Europe tries to regulate Elon Musk's X “

JD Vance suggested the US's support for NATO could be pulled if Europe tries to regulate Elon Musk's X as freespeech debate rumbles on

On the surface of it - I’d support a real effort regarding government efficiency. God knows it needs it. However I’m skeptical Musk can stay focused enough to make realistic and relevant suggestions.

But if they make actual progress I’d support it.

I said on Twitter a few years ago that Elon was the one guy who could reform Healthcare and save the US a freakish amount of money. I was hoping he'd read about Milton Friedman's concept of medical savings accounts. A few days ago I noticed Friedman appeared on Musk's X account. I've supported Friedman's ideas since I read Free to Choose in junior high school

I always thought K-12 kids should be able to learn online instead of getting a ridiculously expensive gov't education that costs $15K per year. The kids could get a nice gov't check when they graduate with their online education. Gov't saves big bucks and the kid gets big bucks to start his career. Who had the same idea which he talked about earlier this year? Vivek

Since I was a teenager I advocated free online college education that is accredited. Now the Trump administration is all in on that. Elon and Vivek will be pushing it. Instead of the gov't running online education it should be Elon/Vivek doing it privately imo. Having to attend clown colleges and running up big debt is a joke

Because they are geniuses it will be clear to Elon and Vivek that Russia should be our ally not our enemy. Being aligned with Russia can significantly reduce defense spending

As I've said for 2 decades, instead of isolating and sanctioning Iran our goal should be to bring that country into the Western camp. Because they are geniuses Vivek and Elon will figure this out, if they haven't already

Vivek and Elon will influence our foreign policy. They should be mentored by Greg Copley so they can get grounded in the basics. For example, who is the primary sponsor of Hamas? Iran? Nope. Turkey. Does Iran already have nuclear weapons? Yes. And so on

Yawn. You are both disingenuous liars. Everyone who can read knows that. Quote my statement in my words you are referring too. You won’t. Everyone who can read knows that too.

LOL. You are a fraud. You got called out and offered a bet and you backed out because you know you were full of crap. Here is your statement:

    upload_2024-11-15_7-42-19.png

So, I said I'll take over $60Billion which is 20% higher than your brilliant estimate. In fact you said "I bet the most you could get is $30-50B" so there is the proof. Here is the time for you to say "I made it up, sorry 95". Or you can bet me. Or you can go on trolling and lying. Your choice.

Thanks for posting that you are a liar. My argument is highlighted below. YOU CANT GET $2T from efficiency. I said you can only get 1-2% of the $2T from efficiency which is a 98% fail and you want to bet that you can get 2-3% of the $2T from efficiency which is a 97% fail? Are you really this obtuse? My entire argument it that efficiency is negligible 1-2%, hell, even your guess is 3% of the target. Learn to read and follow and argument.

And so it begins. Musk using the US government to bully foreign nations for his benefit. I really hope this bromance blows up soon.

Two people doing the job of one, in a fake “department”, that has no power or purpose because Congress controls spending… I mean, was “government efficiency” supposed to be an ironic name?

LOL. I pointed out you said literally "I bet in efficiency" And I took you up on it and now you are backing out of it because you were making shit up.

You know what, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'll listen to the rando poster on a message board instead of maybe taking insight from one of the most brilliant minds in the world. Yeah, this is a real conundrum for me...

I love how butthurt the left is on this topic. Of all the crap they could complain about, they choose to be upset that 2 people want to audit the books lol. Hilarious.
