    With all these names coming out, I got to thinking if there was anyone who benefited from serving under Trump the first time.... couldn't think of a single person. A lot of people went from up and coming in the GOP to Perahia. Some people got convicted and went to jail. Some were targeted for mob execution. Who, if anyone, came out ahead?

    So the takeaway is people should be begging for the White House Press Secretary job rather than substantive roles.

    Yeah, Sanders is a fair example, forgot about her... McEnany already had a TV job before she went to work for Trump, though, I think, but also probably got a boost when she joined Fox after.

    The fuller answer to who benefited are a bunch of junior politicals (DepSec levels and below).

    But even most Cabinet-level principals weren’t harmed by it, you really just didn’t want to be Mike Pence, AG, SecDef, White House Chief of Staff, or some of the “senior advisor” roles.
