Yup. And when he ran against Alex cink for governor the first time he claimed she was either " corrupt or incompetent " in her management of FRS. Can't make that up. So the guy in charge of Florida's biggest Healthcare fraud in history claimed ignorance 75 times... Political party aside the guy is filthy and the same people who justify him getting elected would throw someone in jail for stealing a 6 pack at a 7eleven.
What's with your obsession and always talking about Rick Scott bumper stickers? You've been doing it for several years now
Even some model on this board agree with me when I said that Rick Scott is one of the worst candidates. Now all of a sudden your opinions of him have changed? How strange
You libs have a bad habit of minimizing and then forgetting about your own awful behavior. I’m just here to try and keep you honest. It won’t matter in the end, but we have to fight the good fight.
And most hospital systems pushed reimbursement lines back then… Govt made an example of one of the largest for profit health systems. Thanks for telling everyone what we already know. It’s not as big of a deal as you want it to be.
Sure, felonies aren't big deals. It is okay to systematically inflate your expenses, add phony diagnoses, and "bundle" unnecessary tests in order to charge hundreds of millions more than you are entitled to charge the government for healthcare and pay kickbacks to doctors to drum up business. And once again, here you are loving criminals.
Scott is not well liked within the Republican caucus. Scott came out recently and said he does not know the majority of his fellow Republicans senators very well. That is not something someone with a good chance of winning an election within the caucus would say. Then there is the issue of him completely punting the his term as the 2022 chair of the NRSC into the stands. Scott is not likely a viable candidate. It will be either Cornyn or Thune. I would prefer Thune as he has been McConnell's deputy for a long time and likely understands the arcane rules of the Senate almost as well as McConnell does.
Scott is a carpetbagger from texass and his corruption in health care and as a governor has long been documented. That said, Floridians dont seem to care so why should the Senate. As a former poster here used to say "corruption rules".
I used to hear this from criminals when I worked for the DOJ. “Everyone” was doing it. Even if true (which isn't) it is not an excuse to break the law. HCA and its subsidiaries voluntarily paid a combined $1.7B which demonstrates the magnitude of their criminal activities. Working with our CEO and a division President I know how closely they are keyed into pricing and monetization strategies. It directly affects their job longevity, annual bonuses, and LTIPs (long term incentive plans). Rick Scott played a direct role in directing these activities even if he conveniently subsequently lforgot.” He is as dirty and dishonest as they come and here you are trying to white knight for him. As another poster stated, you’d have no problem throwing the book at someone stealing from a convenience store but here you are going out of your way to defend someone that harmed society on a million-fold scale. As someone that studied criminology at Florida and worked for a state DOJ on two different occasions, including for the Organized Crime Division, your comments really irk me.
Blue has always been a fan of the super wealthy taking as much money as possible at the expense of the little guy
RINOs left... Hmm... what will we do with RINOs leading the Senate? They should get a full and complete background investigation... I would also like to see these people audited, like they pushed for, and got, Trump audited.
They get one every six years, it is called a state wide election. Scott was a complete disaster as NRSC Chair in '22 and then asked for a promotion. Shocking he did not get it.
