    No. It is a pick that is causing distressed because in the event of confirmation, it will take this candidate over a year and half to figure out the details of all the requirements of SecDef and then start making good decisions. In the meantime, 18 months will have been burned of the second Trump Admin with R control of the House and Senate and that time cannot be bought back.

    I'm having a hard time seeing how he gets to 50 votes + the VP. Lisa and Collins are No's. McConnell is also a likely No. I'll be interested to see where Cotton is on this pick. Could also see Kennedy, Barrasso, and a couple others as possible No's.
