^^^follow up/while you're at it, perhaps you can propose a plausible hypothesis to explain Doh! Biden's missing 20 million votes.

That's kind of a lot of votes that failed to manifest, after the Dummyrat machinery threw > A BILLION DOLLARS to motivate them!

Held no punches--brought out Barry, Oprah, Billy Bob, shill, Michelle, Queen Bee, Gaga, da Swifties, the Boss, SNL all in, on and on...

All that to.... yield 20 million FEWER votes than the great Rock n Roll legend, the myth, the demigod that is...

    DOH! BIDEN!!!

Why, I guess they'll just nevuh, evuh, be another Cornpop!

    ...best there ever was...

    Lol!

I assume you arent suggesting putting U.S. boots on the ground. What’s the issue with the hands-off approach? Ukraine has been surprisingly effective at defending themselves, esp considering most thought the war would be over in a week. Including probably the Biden admin (who offered to evacuate Zelensky at the start of the invasion).

The U.S. also sent them a crap ton of surplus equipment that was collecting dust (some we would even consider obsolete).

According to this, about 70% of the aid is equipment, 30% is budget support.

How Much U.S. Aid Is Going to Ukraine?

I wonder if this thread gets locked down? Started with an unsubstantiated rumor on twitter from a foreign source known to spread misinformation and has zero other sources to back up the claims? Hmmm
    Probably not.

While I disagree with your position on Ukraine in general, I understand and respect it.

But the quoted statement is just plain absolute propaganda. The equipment that we have sent them neither was nor is anything near obsolete. As you can see it works rather well as I’m sure the Russian bastards have figured out for themselves.

Perhaps “obsolete” wasn’t the correct word. Anything that goes boom isn’t obsolete, and even before the war we were giving them javelins which obviously were incredibly effective against the initial wave. Most of the $$$ is in sheer volume of supplies and ordinance. I’m aware of all that. That was really my point if you re-read my post, we are sending them actual hardware, not just a “blank check”.

But we slow played air support and the type of artillery. Obviously there were reasons for that (initially we were probably supplying them for a guerrilla warfare type deal, and nobody wants to send in expensive equipment only to see it destroyed in a week). Seemed like they had to go through several “upgrade cycles” just on the artillery systems used and even now the F16’s are barely ramping up and not even sure what impact they are having. Ukraine’s biggest successes seem to be in drone usage.

It is a quote from a Putin aid via a Russian state-owned news agency, not a rumor.

Why the need to discredit and distract?

Until Jan 20th they are gonna come hard against Trump. I wouldn't be surprised if they had Biden resign before then and Harris take over or declare War on someone. Heck, Maybe they will do both.

Putin aide is now a reliable source? Russian state owned news agency is now a reliable source? Ok
But no more complaining about unreliable sources here in The US. I mean hasn’t the left spent years claiming Russia is spreading misinformation? But now.. now it’s reliable?

2014 was genius. This was what my old boss would have called, "Stepping on your dick". Followed by a face plant into a puddle of your own vomit.

    I can't believe I'm having this conversation.

It is a statement by a government official via a state-owned news agency...a direct quote. What exactly do you consider to be the 'rumor' and what part of it requires substantiation?

This statement is a primary source of information in that it conveys an official's words directly from the Russian government’s perspective. Whether or not we believe what he said is a separate issue from acknowledging that he said it. The fact that a high-ranking official made these comments is relevent, regardless of whether we consider his claims to be true.

This helps us understand what the Russian government is publicly stating. That can be important for analyzing their strategies. Dismissing it as a 'rumor' simply because it originates from a Russian state-owned source is a silly distraction technique.

So, while we can challenge its veracity, it;s reasonable to view it as a legitimate piece of Russia's narrative.

    For most, this would sound far fetched. But you are referencing people who went from this;

why did he give polling data?
so Russian misinformation campaigns would know who and what to target to help djt?

i could be wrong, but I think that is clsoe to the defintion of collusion.

so we have a sworn enemy helping to get a guy elected.

    no problem with that?

Then there’s the nude photos of Mrs Trump that Russia published on its state-controlled media. Nobody’s talking about that, and how steamed Trump must be because of it.
