Glad to hear this. I'm afraid I am a bit concerned about Trey. Yes he has good stats, NO, he does not, when it counts the most.
You need a great kicker at crunch time. IMO Trey has not come through very well in that regard.

I have always been an advocate of burning schollys on great kickers, we certainly have a great punter. I think the kicking game and awarding schollys is undervalued. And with the new increase in scholarship / signee limits, it makes no sense not to aggressively pursue the best ones. That kid at FSU is nails from 60+ on in.

walked ALS during the game so I didn't get to watch. How in the hell did he miss a field goal that would equate to an extra point? Bad hold did he tripped and fall down like Charlie Brown what the hell happened?

 

A terrible miss and at that time in the game, everyone thought that may have been UF's best chance not to break the scoring streak.
Fortunately the team scored 17 against TX second stringers the second half after the score was 42-0, but it concerns me, at that point in the game, Trey did not get it done. I don't trust him in pressure kick situaitons anymore.
