Went on way too long before it was addressed but when the leadership of the party is peddling that garbage why should we expect any difference?

 

Came back to this thread just in time for the part where the Trump supporters express their outrage at people being offended by Trump's deplorable comments.

Remember: his political opponents are vermin and the enemy of the people. And we shouldn't be bothered by him saying so.

How vile so much of our electorate has become.....

 

I know, right. After Hillary called us deplorables, then got spanked hard by the American electorate, you'd think calling half of the American voters names would be a bad idea by now.

 

Lack of decorum is engrained in social media. I appreciate wanting to turn back the clock but I fear we're too far gone.

 

It didn't hurt Trump to call half the voters names like 'vermin', 'enemy of the people' and 'the enemy within'. You guys eat that stuff up yet get your panties in a wad over 'deplorables'.

 

IDK, does it even have an effect anymore?

 

The thing is that Trump is referring to politions, the deep state, and illegal immigrants (some of which are committing horrible crimes). The dims are referring to the citizens of the United States of America. The Republicans that I know embrace the insults from the other side.

Well here's the vermin quote. I'm not seeing the part where he says he's only referring to politicians, deep state and illegal immigrants. Can you point it out to me?

It doesn't bother me that he is calling deep staters vermin. These people need to be exposed. They do not have the country's best interest at heart. It will be interesting when the Epstein and Diddy lists are revealed. Would you have any problem calling those people vermin?

Yes, referring to a group of people as cockroaches is really bad and should be condemned. It's not surprising to me though that you don't condemn it. You voted for Trump because he said stuff like this not in spite of it.
