Not quite. Susan Collins is up for reelection in Maine and there is a chance that she could be defeated if she decides to run for reelection since I'm sure that her votes to confirm the Trump SCOTUS nominees the voted to overturn Roe aren't very popular in that state. Also McConnell probably isn't running for reelection in KY. If Beshear does decides to run for the seat he has a real chance at flipping it. The Democrats will also have a shot at flipping NC. That being said the Republican majority in the Senate will not be in any danger in 2026. Harris and the Democrats were on the wrong side of the issue of the economy in 2024. In 2026 the issue will be reversed.

Can you explain how Florida can get almost 4 times as many votes counted in 12 hours as AZ can in 4 days?

Generally curious, not suggesting anything more than incompetence.

Probably better equipment. Arizona Secretary of State complained about people wanting Cadillac performance, but the state only had Yugos. Counting goes as fast as it can.

No. Signature match is still by hand. Counting machines are 20 years old, and starting to break down. The machine in Cochise County failed.

Third world countries do it better. Democrats have made it a tortuous process with all the exceptions and pandering. Most states are at >97% counted within 24 hours. They blame it on the machinery, but it's their extremely inefficient process of attempting to accommodate every one and give themselves enough time to rig the vote if need be. Counting the vote over a span of weeks is begging for fraud.

The state legislature of Arizona has been Republican majority for decades. They are the ones who refuse to spend the money to upgrade the equipment.

The Rs devised plans to end early voting instead. Or end the Permanent Early Voting List, which automatically mails ballots to those on the list. Would cut down on the number of early ballots which require signature checks.

As for fraud? Extremely rare. The 2020 votes were counted, recounted, audited, then audited again. No mass fraud found and all counts within 50 of each other while counting millions of votes.

    A. Nobody is cheating. There's zero proof of any widespread fraud. None. Nada. Zilch.

    B. The Republican controlled Arizona House and Senate refuse to invest what's needed to speed the process along. The process isn't magic. And counting is going as fast as it can given the tech limits.

The Wall Street Journal rightly slams Bob Casey, Jr. and top democrat attorney Marc Elias:

The Wall Street Journal Did Not Hold Back Regarding What Dems Are Trying to Do in PA

Marc Elias up to his dirty tricks is par for the course, But Bob Casey, Jr. knows better as he campaigned against Dave McCormick claiming he is an election denier supporter:

The Associated Press and most other media have called the Senate race in Pennsylvania for Republican Dave McCormick. But never fear, Democrats, lawyer Marc Elias is on the case trying to steal the seat for incumbent Democrat Bob Casey. Did someone say “election denial”?

Mr. Casey has refused to concede despite trailing by some 40,000 votes as we write this, and Mr. Elias has declared on X that the race isn’t over. The specialist who excavates controversial ballots for Democrats is at it again.

As we write this midday Sunday, the state still has some 87,000 provisional ballots to count. Provisional means the ballots are in question for one legal reason or another, such as not following proper mail-ballot procedure or perhaps a question about voter registration. Mr. Casey is claiming this means he could still overcome Mr. McCormick’s lead.

That’s highly unlikely. About 30,000 provisional ballots are outstanding from Philadelphia and Allegheny County, both Casey strongholds. The others come from the rest of the state, where Mr. McCormick did better. Mr. Casey has won the 7,700 or so provisional ballots counted so far by about 54%-46%. If that margin prevails for the rest of the provisional counting, there’s no way Mr. Casey can win.
