They have a natuonal champoliinship and i think a heisman. Money can get a roster anywhere and with that schedule, is it 6-2? I mean thats good but not really super impressive. I thing cig is a litlle more impressive at this point.
Is Nebraska worse or are they playing better teams. This has been a crazy year and i think nil has created some parity. It doesnt look like there is nearly the seperation in talent as the last decade and a half.
Yes i know that please Read the rest of the post, reading comprehension can be integral to the survival of our species. Please help us out. I was pointing out that Doormats don't usually have a Natty to their name. They have proven they can reach the level.of success they seek. Just like many believe Nebraska can still attract the players they need to return to glory. It's all about the talent not the school. But to his credit he is having a better year then last year when he won 4 games. Talent will do that, as long as they're not sidelined with injuries. What team in that conference outside of Utah (who is is down to their 3rd QB and playing like it now) is good, and has been good and can display any type of hardware recently? So more or less minus a sole team or so, the whole conference is a doormat or on the doorstep of being a doormat? Gotcha
Has Colorado beaten anyone ranked better than 8th in the Big 12? I'm not sure that counts as whipping the other teams in the Big 12. Colorado only has one loss in the Big 12 because of scheduling.
To be fair , without Texas and Oklahoma what does the big 12 have to brag about over the last 30 years or so.? The big 12's meat and potatoes have left and they replaced them by bringing in mountain west and AAC schools. They are trending in the wrong direction it seems.
You lost us at “is Colorado really a doormat though?” Now you’re mocking their former conference they were a doormat of.
Why because I said when Texas and Oklahoma left the BIg12 so did the only 2 Big 12 teams of relevance over the last 30 years? I never said Colorado was good right now, I said thwybhave a rich history of being good which includes a National title. Where the confusion comes in I believe with our conversation is I tend to think of a doormat team as one that has never really won anything. No conference titles, no national titles, no heisman winners etc. A true doormat, Colorado has always been one of the better schools in that region till it was taken from them by Utah. Have proven to be able to get talent, just have to pay for it now.
Yet theres no chance they actually beling among the ten best teams. Maybe im wrong but i dont think so.
Speaking of doormats, that is what Florida is becoming slowly due to bad coaching hires. Our national titles don’t forever preclude us from doormat status. Taking a look at our current recruiting class and we’ll be doormat status before long if it continues.
We lost by a similar score as we beat Samford by. The injury excuse just doesn't cut it. UF should NEVER lose a SEC matchup like like we win FCS cupcake games.
