I would take him just so that Norvell would not get his next Jordan Travis. Non-scrambling qb seems beyond Norvell's comprehension.
Maybe expedite the decommit of Solomon Thomas. Not that he will choose UF but may open up the possibility.
I of course, did not watch that shit fest of a game but were there bad calls that decided the outcome?
4th and long for the Mormons 99 yards away, QB was sacked either a safety or the 1 yard line, game appeared over, ref threw a questionable yellow flag for defensive holding. After the penalty BYU marches down and kicks a game winning FG, leaving 2 or 3 seconds on the clock.
It's working for him this year because he is playing a Big 12 schedule. Norvel tried this and it's blowing up on him, with his ACC schedule. I just don't think it will work long term in the SEC.
He's not wrong but he's also essentially saying, "I have no interest in developing even a single player." It's the strategy most companies use these days and it's why every company is a revolving door. You are hired to do a job and when opportunity for advancement opens, they are going to 75% of the time prioritize people who have experience in that job as opposed to investing in you and giving you your first shot in that role. Your best option is to find another company that you can convince you have the right level of experience. Also, I bet all of the players on CU bench find this kind of talk extremely interesting.
