A "stinky Nole" who no longer claims the Noles and would take no greater pleasure than beating the Noles like a drum every year.
He has already faced that situation. He had nothing at Colorado. Yeah, he brought his boys and Travis Hunter. I really hope people understand that his recruitment of Travis Hunter was the heist of all heists. How do you think Deion would do recruiting wise in Florida? NIL would line up. We'd be the envy of the nation. TAMU would become envious in that scenario. If the only argument against Deion is that he's a former Nole, that becomes irrelevant if he beats the Noles every year.
Hmmm, even if true, that seems to be a superior approach to not hiring an assistant coach (OC) and getting drilled by the SEC week in and week out.
Marketing and personality is half of the job, if not more. If you can't sell kids on signing up to play for you, it doesn't matter if you're the best X and O coach in the country. Plus, we've seen tons of evidence which suggests Billy Napier is not a good practice coach, nor does he have a firm grasp of X's and O's and the rulebook.
Deion took a perennial 3 or 4 win team at Jackson St and went 27-6 in 3 years. Then he took a 1 win doormat at Colorado and has them ranked in the top 20 late in the season of his 2nd year. So I am assuming you are saying Deion Sanders was Ray Lewis like with his tackling, because otherwise your comment makes no sense.
There was a (fake) news thread posted right before the season started about the alleged toxic culture at Colorado was and how Deion lost the locker room. Pretty sure none of them will admit to being wrong lol
They haven't beat any good teams. They lost to Nebraska and k state, barely beat Baylor in overtime, and the other W's were North Dakota state, Colorado state, UCF, Arizona, cincinatti, and texas tech. And they finish up with Kansas, Utah and ok state which each have 3 wins each and sit at the bottom of the conference. They lucked out and haven't played BYU, Arizona State, or Iowa State. Only team in the top 6 of the conference(k state) they lost to. Color me unimpressed
CU ranked #18 this week by AP. If CU runs the table and beats BYU, they will be a Top 10 ranked team heading into the CFP.
Shilo is 25 years old. If he has any eligibility left he needs to team up with Cam Rising on the mid life crisis team.
Weird that people who bash Napier for not winning against good teams are celebrating Sanders not winning against good teams. The only difference between their record and our record is the strength of schedule.
Strength of schedule only makes it fair. Deion hasn't had access to Florida's recruiting base like Napier has.
The only way this makes sense is if UF expects the same results as CU. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks UF should have CU level expectations, Billy has broken your spirit.
