Ole Miss has looked well coached this entire season. I think he's a good coach. Looking around the SEC, it's hard not to think we are deficient in the coaching department. Hard to believe recruits don't think that also.
why would he leave Ole Miss for Florida? Serious question, that many folks just will not answer. He ain’t coming to Florida, hell there are rumors he will be the next Saints coach
He is losing a ton of players this year. Also, he would probably do well in talent rich Florida. Hope we have some of our corners and lagway back before we play them.
Qb3 is a tougb position to be in but its not something we should not be prepared for. Weve had many that had to play and a walkon isnt where it should be.
Guys, he lost to Kentucky. Kentucky, what kind of terrible no good awful coach loses to Kent... wait, forget what I was saying. Wait, but does that mean he is the best coach ever and the worst coach ever at the same time.
Their final game against the Aggies will be for a playoff spot. Must win. As for easy schedules, Missouri's isn't any tougher. As for Ole Miss NCs, "claim" is the key word and the last one was in early *60s prior to integration. None of the 3 are AP recognized. They've never been to Atlanta either for the sec championship game. Great football fans but not much hardware.
Just thinking about this, Ole Miss was also the only team to beat the eventual 2008 national champions! If I was a betting man, I'd bet those 2008 national champions would destroy this year's UGA and Ole Miss teams. And I'm guessing everyone here would agree with me.
We brought a scholarship player in for QB3, right? He just got beat out by the walkon. How many times have we had to start QB3, and were they any good? I don't remember any. The fact is, most QB3 are running the scout team and not even the playbook. They aren't even thinking about running with the 1s, working on timing with receivers, etc. To make things worse, our QB2 goes down shortly after QB1, so QB3 only had a couple of weeks to take second team snaps before he's playing.
There have been some third stringers and deeper that have been quite good if you know your history. I guess the colorado st guy was a really bad decision.
